[ASCLS Education SA] Department Head for Analytical and Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Cincinnati

Dear Colleague, 

Kittleman and Associates has been retained by The University of Cincinnati
College of Allied Health Sciences in their search for a Department Head for
Analytical and Diagnostic Sciences. The Department Head has the
responsibility for the organization, administration and periodic review of
baccalaureate and masters academic programs. Included in this full-time, 12
month faculty appointment is the direct responsibility for the on-campus
Clinical Laboratory Science program, the large on-line Clinical Laboratory
Science program of over 400 students, the on-campus Advanced Medical Imaging
program, the newly approved on-line Respiratory Care program and the
on-campus Transfusion and Transplantation Sciences program. The Department
Head administers academic strategy and policy at the divisional level.

The qualified candidate will have a doctorate in a related field and
certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (NCA), Medical Laboratory
Science (ASCP) or Medical Terminology (ASCP). Candidates should have at
least three years administrative experience in CLS education, evidence of
educational leadership, program management and related on-line learning in
the academic field.
